When you sign up with GigHound, one of the first things we ask for is your address. Your address is used for the following purposes:
- Searching for shifts: Your address is used to find and notify you of available shifts in your area.
- Tax reporting: When we file your T4 at the end of the year, we are required to include your address.
- Background/Security checks: If you choose to work a shift that requires a background check or a security check, your address will be one of the details we must provide to governing agencies or our approved background check vendors. This information is only made available with your permission.
This information is not visible to other GigHound users and will not be shared without your permission or unless required by law.
