Proof of work eligibility
As an employee of GigHound, we require proof of your work eligibility in the form of a Social Insurance Number (SIN).
A government-issued photo ID
Before you begin working, we must confirm your identity with a government-issued photo ID.
Must be 18 years of age
To work for GigHound, you must be 18 years of age or older.
A data plan and a smartphone
The GigHound worker app requires a cellular connection. We don’t support wifi-only devices (like wifi-only iPads).
Data is required through your mobile network provider in order to check in and out at the job site and ensure that you are paid correctly.
Work gear
Different shifts may call for different kinds of gear. Before taking a shift, you can review the gear requirements on the job description page.
Background Check (if applicable)
Background checks are only required for specific jobs that require increased security measures. Prior to taking a shift, you can review the job description to see if a background check is required for the shift.
