WHMIS stands for Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. This program provides information regarding how to identify hazardous materials, how to work with hazardous materials and what to do if you are exposed to hazardous materials.
Since GigHound Workers are assigned to a variety of work environments, we provide a WHMIS overview – providing general knowledge of WHMIS. This is provided by having Workers complete our WHMIS 2015 package. Through this package, you are required to complete and successfully pass an assessment. In addition, our clients will provide you any required site-specific WHMIS information and training to ensure your safety while on assignment.
